Ongoing bi-weekly food pantry operations at First Baptist Church of Ocklawaha at 12299 SE 133rd Terrace  Ocklawaha, Florida 32179 at 10:00 every other Friday.  Residents of Marion County may participate every time we are open.

Our Wednesday Giveaway, held in various locations around Marion County is a “community favorite” featuring literal TONS of canned and dry goods, produce, frozen meats, snacks, drinks and candy on a bi-weekly basis, where those who need it simply walk up and fill bags that we provide with as much as they need. Emergency Food Box Delivery to shut-ins, available when donations for fuel allow. 

Transportation:  We will strive to provide coordinated transportation to shut-ins, nondrivers, and unlicensed individuals, to doctor’s appointments and counseling sessions, including transportation to meetings to assist with overcoming alcoholism and other addictions. 

LITERACY and GED: We are establishing new FREE GED training locations, and we are proud to have volunteers waiting to assist with GED and employment application/resume’ skills, as well as interview clothing to assist with obtaining gainful employment. 

Homeless Meal Deliveries:  Our affiliates and volunteers are seeking to provide HOMELESS MEALS to encampments all around Marion County as often as six days per week
